Pedestrian Killed in Torrance Hit-and-Run Accident
At 7:35 AM a Torrance Hit-and-Run accident took place, impacting the life of one individual. The unnamed victim was a pedestrian in commute as the unfortunate event occurred.
Investigating the Torrance Hit-and-Run Scene
According to local authorities, a white 2005 Ford truck was travelling westbound on Artesia Boulevard at a highly unsafe speed. The Ford truck rear-ended a black 2000 Toyota truck as well. In the midst of this collision, the 78-year-old pedestrian was struck by the Ford and later pronounced dead at the scene.
A 44-year-old man was the motorist of the Ford vehicle. The Ford motorist was later transported to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. Names of the victims were withheld. Artesia Boulevard lanes remain closed during investigation.
