Fatal PCH Car Crash Leaves 10 Casualties
Investigators are currently working to unfold the details behind a fatal PCH car crash that left 9 injured and claimed the life of 1 individual. While CHP issued a SigAlert around 4:50 PM, the collision took place around 3:10 PM on the 1000 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
Investigating the PCH Car Crash
The incident occurred when a Kia SUV, who was occupied with 6 adults and 2 juveniles, attempted to make a left turn into Beach Lot Four North before being t-boned by a southbound-travelling Toyota Camry. The Camry had two adult occupants at the time of the collision. According to local investigators, the Camry motorist struck the Kia’s rear passenger side. When emergency personnel arrived, they transported all 10 occupants to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, one individual succumbed to their injuries and passed away at the hospital. An investigation is currently underway.
