OPEN POSITIONS

JT Legal Group, APC aka Luchadores Legales is seeking Intake and Sales Representatives to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently
  • Acquiring client information that is required to open their legal case
  • Intake specialists monitor the phones at the office

 

We are willing to train the right people, but you must have customer service experience, either over the phone, or in person.

We love hiring people who have a good work history and who have worked in high volume, stressful situations. We are looking for someone who is outgoing with a positive, go getter attitude.

The candidate should be fluent in Spanish but exceptions may be made depending on experience.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Management and procurement of supplies

We do things differently at JT Legal Group. A lot of the tedious work will be done for you, other than the occasional intake or medical request, your primary job is to take care of our client’s money, health and make sure the process is smooth.

The candidate we are looking for must be comfortable with and must have handled severely injured clients with large policy limits. A properly handled case is when the client is completely satisfied with the level of customer service that we provided and that the client’s treatment was more or less textbook. We want the client to make the best decisions for themselves and that may sometimes include not agreeing to medical treatment which is not in their best interest.

The basic requirements of a case manager assistant are:

• Familiar with reporting claims to Insurance Carriers, Health Insurance carriers, and obtaining statutory liens

• Able to obtain police reports, send out POE’s and process DMV requests

• Able to assist with resolving and facilitating property damage claims

• Able to request medical records and billing to help prepare cases for demand

• Able to calculate Howell meds and Loss of Earnings (training is provided)

• Organize electronic files according to internal procedure (training is provided)

• Complete tasks as assigned and delegated in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• Organized and able to multi-task

• Consistency in attendance and punctuality

• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and use case management software

• Motivated self-starter that takes initiative to see tasks through unto completion

JT Legal Group seeks an assertive Lien Negotiator. The ideal candidate has lien negotiation experience in personal injury matters. Duties include negotiating health insurance liens, private medical provider liens, and med pay reimbursement claims.

JT Legal Group is seeking an assertive Legal Assistant who

  • Has a strong understanding of legal terminology.
  • Can attend meetings and take notes for lawyers in attendance.
  • Transcribe, proofread, and file legal documents before deadlines.
  • Manage travel logistics for one or more attorneys.
  • Answer phones and take messages.
  • Manage schedules.
  • Schedule court depositions, hearings, and other meetings as determined by an attorney.
  • Keep and organize court files.

Every candidate must have experience:

  • Working with electronic files – we don’t do paper unless it is for trial.
  • Drafting and filing complaints.
  • Propounding and responding to discovery for personal injury cases.
  • Calendaring deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have trial experience including:

  • Going to trials with an attorney.
  • Doing whatever is necessary for trial including trial binders, preparing exhibits, supplies, etc.
  • Subpoenas.
  • Trial related motions/notices such as 998 offers to compromise and expert exchange.
  • Drafting motions in limine.
  • Drafting mediation briefs.
  • Preparing special verdict forms and jury instructions.

Qualifications:

Applicant MUST be able to take direction, be skilled and experienced, organized, capable of performing internet research, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft office, be familiar with the rules of civil procedure and Federal knowledge is a plus, or willing to learn, and have great attention to detail. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Bring a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn succeed and you will fit right in.
