On Wednesday, March 22 at the early hour of 2:11 AM, a pedestrian lost their life. The fatal Downtown LA hit-and-run accident took place along the harbor 110 freeway near Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles. According to California Highway Patrol, they received a report identifying a body within the 2nd lane of the 110 freeway.

Unfortunately, the motorist who originally first struck the pedestrian, fled from the scene. Afterward, other vehicles ran over the individual, while others pulled over. Medical personnel arrived and declared the individual deceased. A SigAlert was issued for a 3-hour closure of the 1st through 4th lanes of the freeway. No other specifics were given. An investigation is currently in progress.
