Woman Killed In Car Accident

California Highway Patrol officials have remarked that a Lemoore woman was killed on Sunday in a solo-vehicle accident.

The woman was driving by herself in a 2006 Chevrolet at an estimated speed of around 70 mph eastbound on Hanford Armona Road, east of 17th Avenue around 5:30 p.m., according to a press release from the CHP.

The woman turned her car abruptly to the right that caused it to travel in a southeasterly direction after which the vehicle struck a power pole on its left side, continued in a southeasterly direction and then rolled over. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
