William Koch Killed in San Diego Accident
William Koch, 31, of Denver, CO, died in a pedestrian accident Saturday night on state Route 94, just west of 28th Street in Golden Hill.
The Denver resident was vacationing in San Diego when a driver in a white pickup truck reportedly hit him around 9:22 p.m. on June 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The motorist in the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck pulled over to the right side of SR-94 onto the shoulder following the collision, the San Diego Union Tribune reports.
Paramedics and police responded to state Route 94 after someone called 911 to report the pedestrian accident. Sadly, the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators spoke with the driver and are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on state Route 94.
The San Diego Medical Examiner identified the man, William Koch, on its website.
