Highway 4 Crash Involving Nissan Maxima and Honda Accord 

Two vehicles collided in Brentwood on Thursday, September 15th under unclear circumstances. 

Per CHP, the accident occurred around 1 p.m. on Marsh Creek Road (Highway 4) at Sellers Avenue. 

A Honda Accord and Nissan Maxima were involved in the accident. 

The Honda acquired major front-end damage as a result after crashing into the driver’s slide of the Nissan. 

It was also reported that the Nissan sustained major side damage. 

Tow trucks were needed to remove both vehicles from the scene. 

It is unclear if and how many people were injured. 

An active investigation remains underway to determine fault. 

Tips for after accident procedures:

  • Always stop at the scene 
  • Call 911 if there are any injuries 
  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
