Foggy Conditions Cause Collision on Highway 1 

Two vehicles collided in Santa Maria on Thursday morning, leaving two people injured. 

It was around 4:43 a.m. when the collision occurred on Highway 1.

Reports included that it was foggy at the time a Toyota Prius and farm tractor crashed.

One person suffered minor injuries and another had moderate injuries as a result. Their names have yet to be disclosed at this time. 

Investigators are actively working to determine liability for the accident. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything
