39-Year-Old Man Killed After Motorcycle Collision

A 39-year-old man was killed on Saturday night after his motorcycle collided with the back of a pickup near the Countryside Plaza in Turlock.

Michael Beede, of Turlock, died at a Modesto hospital despite life-saving efforts by rescuers. A 39-year-old Modesto man was driving his Chevrolet pickup east on Fulkerth Road and made a left turn onto the on-ramp of northbound Highway 99. Beede clipped the back of the pickup and was thrown from his motorcycle.
