One Person Dead After Templeton Car Crash
Two vehicles collided on Tuesday evening, resulting in the death of one unidentified person.
The deadly accident occurred in Templeton on November 23rd, around 5:45 p.m.
CHP reported that a GMC pickup truck slammed into the left side of a tractor-trailer that was in the process of making a U-turn.
Unfortunately, the driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are actively working to determine what may have factored into the collision.
U-turns are basically left turns which account for nearly a quarter of all vehicle crashes according to NHTSA.
In addition, those who are making the u-turn are often the person at fault. This is because those who initiate a U-turn must allow for enough time to make sure they don’t impact the flow of traffic from the opposite direction.
If your injuries are caused by the negligence of a third party you may be entitled to compensation. In the event of a death, families may be entitled to wrongful death benefits.
