Primitivo Martinez Killed by Truck in Moreno Valley
A 69-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Monday morning, October 11th in Moreno Valley.
The fatal accident occurred around 7:22 a.m. on Box Springs Road near Clark Street, per reports.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a tow truck struck Martinez as it was making a left turn on Box Springs Road.
Martinez was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately died shortly after.
The unidentified driver told authorities their vision was blurred by sunlight and Martinez was also not walking in a marked crosswalk.
While drugs or alcohol are not considered a factor, the crash remains under investigation.
