Timothy Skobel, 59, of Squaw Valley, was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident that took place on Copco Avenue.
According to news reports, a black Dodge Challenger hit the victim in the 45100 block of Copco Avenue. Authorities logged the fatal crash near the Golden State (5) Freeway in Gorman at about 9:30 p.m.
Emergency crew arrived at the scene and found the victim lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and died.
Several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, authorities are still investigating the crash to determine the precise circumstances.
