Thuong Duong Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident

51-year-old Thuong Duong has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being hit by a suspected drunk driver last month in Fresno.

The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 6 p.m. on Fresno Street near Cambridge Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The woman was walking in the area and was struck by a car traveling southbound on Fresno Street.

Duong succumbed to her injuries at the accident scene.

The driver of the car was found to be under the influence of marijuana and was cited for DUI.
