Highway 101 Crash Results in Minor Injuries

One person was left injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Ventura Thursday afternoon.

The accident took place around 3:30 p.m. within the northbound lanes of Highway 101. 

A Honda Accord along with two other vehicles crashed under unclear circumstances. 

It was an occupant of the Honda that suffered minor injuries after his head hit when airbags deployed. 

Investigators are actively working to determine fault for the crash.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
