Driver Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash is Identified

Tashfeen Haq, 43, of Riverside, died in a multi-vehicle crash in Victorville last Sunday on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Stoddard Wells Road off ramp.

The collision occurred around 3:31 p.m. on August 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.

The drivers involved included a green 2024 Porsche Cayenne SUV that reportedly went off the roadway and crashed into a disabled white 2022 Ford F-150 pickup truck on the shoulder of the roadway. It’s unknown what set off the collision at this time.

Paramedics responded and the driver of the Porsche, identified as Tashfeen Haq, died on scene, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

A 32-year-old woman riding as a passenger in the Porsche suffered major injuries and was trapped in the SUV. Firefighters extricated her from the SUV. Paramedics transported her by ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old man driving the Ford F150 and his 32-year-old female passenger were taken to Victor Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, investigators with the CHP’s Barstow station are piecing together what happened to determine fault.
