Two Men Killed as a Result of Police Pursuit 

A police pursuit resulted in a deadly crash in Willowbrook on Saturday night. 

32-year-old Tarence Burrell and 33-year-old Rafael Bruner were identified as the two men killed. 

Per reports, the suspect who was being pursued collided with another vehicle, killing two people and leaving another critically injured. 

The collision occurred at El Segundo Boulevard and Main Street. 

Paramedics also transported the critically injured to a trauma center. 

The crash remains under investigation.

According to statistics, 23.3% of police pursuits in 2019 resulted in collisions. Of those accidents, 32.7% resulted in injury and 1.4% were fatal. 

Police are often forced to make quick decisions during pursuits which can lead to dangerous outcomes.
