Man, 68, Killed in Sept. 26th Crash is Identified
Stephen Howard Georgi, 68, has been identified as the man who died in a Bakersfield pedestrian accident on Hughes Lane back in late September.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the victim this week as the man who died.
The deadly crash occurred at around 7:39 p.m. on September 26th at Hughes Lane and Wilson Road, according to Bakersfield Now.
A southbound motorist struck the victim in the roadway due to unknown circumstances and then stopped to call for help. Bakersfield police responded to the 2400 block of Hughes Lane and they located the victim in the roadway suffering from major injuries, but Stephen Georgi later died.
Meanwhile, driver stopped and cooperated with police officers and the investigation into what happened.
