3 Dead, 1 Hurt in I-5 Traffic Collision
CHP reported a fatal accident in Tehama County on Sunday morning, leaving 3 dead and 2 injured.
The crash took place on March 20th at about 1:45 a.m. on Interstate 5.
Per reports, Ivy Spangle, 16, was driving south in a Kia before swerving into oncoming traffic.
As a result, the Kia collided with a big rig that was parked on the side of the road.
Both Spangle, Autumn Craytor, 15, and Jordan Verdugo, 20, sadly died in the wreck.
Sierra Olander, 21, who was also a passenger in the Kia, was taken to Mercy Medical Center with major injuries.
She is expected to be okay.
Rodney Hill, the 47-year-old driver of the big rig, was left unharmed.
The crash remains under investigation.
