Hit-and-Run Collision Kills Woman in Merced
Authorities are still in search of the hit-and-run suspect that killed Shantel Hamilton in Merced Monday night.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of 26th and G Streets on June 6th.
Hamilton, 36, of Merced, was riding a scooter when a BMW 5 Series struck her and drove away.
Paramedics performed CPR on the woman and rushed her to the hospital with major injuries.
Sadly, she died later on.
