Three-Vehicle Crash Involving Semi in Fresno

There were three vehicles involved in a collision on Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m.

The crash occurred on Highway 99 on December 9th, just north of Olive Avenue.

Per reports, a big rig which was involved overturned as a result.

It is unclear at this time, however, what led up to the collision.

The other cars involved were a Dodge Charger and Subaru Outback.

Although paramedics responded to the scene, it is unclear if and how many injuries were sustained.

Several lanes of the highway were shut down for a few hours pending cleanup and investigation.

The crash remains under investigation.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
