Accident on E Pacheco Road Leaves 1 Hospitalized
The California Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a semi-truck and Honda Accord Thursday morning in Bakersfield.
Per reports, the accident occurred at 3:41 a.m. and resulted in one person being hospitalized.
Investigators revealed that the Honda slammed into the back of the semi as it was stopped before making a turn onto Cottonwood Road.
Emergency personnel had to assist one of the occupants of the Honda from exiting the vehicle following the wreck.
An individual ID’d as Patricia was also taken to Kern Medical Center with major injuries.
In addition, police shut down the eastbound lanes of Pacheco Road following the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
