Big Rig Collision Results in Death 

Juan Gomez Nuno, 42, died after crashing into the back of a big rig on Sunday evening. 

The deadly accident took place in Santa Fe Springs on January 2nd around 7:20 p.m. 

Authorities reported that Nuno’s car slid under the big rig’s trailer, causing him to be trapped inside. 

Sadly, Nuno died at the scene of the crash within the 13538 block of Excelsior Drive. 

The crash remains under investigation.
