Uber Passenger Killed near Golden Gate Park 

A collision involving an Uber vehicle resulted in the death of the passenger in San Francisco on Saturday evening. 

It was about 7:34 p.m. on January 29th when a black Audi SUV struck the Uber driver’s Honda SUV. 

The collision occurred at the intersection of 46th Avenue and Lincoln Way near Golden Gate Park. 

As a result of the crash, the Uber passenger, 38-year-old Barry McGrath sadly died at the hospital after being transported. 

The involved driver reportedly fled the scene and it was later discovered that the Audi SUV was reported stolen on January 12th. 

In addition, the Uber driver sustained only minor injuries. 

The suspect has also been described as a bald white man about 45 year of age. He is also more than 6 feet tall. 

Witnesses are urged to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444.
