Two-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 5 at Twin Cities Road
Major injuries were sustained following a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Sacramento County.
The crash occurred at 4:20 p.m. on December 17th in the southbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway.
According to CHP, a Nissan Sentra collided with a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at the Twin Cities Road on-ramp.
As a result, one person sustained major injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Police also shut down the southbound lanes at Twin Cities Road for a period of time.
Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
