Interstate 80 Collision Results in Injuries
Three people suffered minor to moderate injuries in a two-vehicle collision in Sacramento Tuesday evening.
It was just minutes after 6 p.m. when the crash occurred within the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80.
Both vehicles became engulfed in flames upon impact, leaving three people injured.
All parties were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Their identities and conditions are unknown at this time.
Investigators are actively working to determine fault for the accident.
Tips for after accident procedures:
- Always stop at the scene
- Call 911 if there are any injuries
- Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
- Exchange information with others involved and document everything
- Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
