Ronald Cook Fatal Motorcycle Accident Temescal Canyon Road in Corona

Ronald Cook, 64, of Corona, died in a motorcycle accident Friday night at Temescal Canyon Road and Foster Road in Corona.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 6:50 p.m. on June 23rd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The motorcyclist and a blue Ford pickup truck were involved in the collision. It’s unknown what led up to the collision, but the rider went down in traffic lanes and his bike caught on fire, the CHP report said.

The Riverside County Sheriff Coroner responded to the scene and police closed down the roadway to investigate the crash. They later identified the victim as Ronald Cook on their website.

A tow truck removed the motorcycle for evidence, but it’s unknown if the truck was damaged in the collision. The roadway reopened at 9:37 p.m. the same night.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing by Riverside CHP detectives.
