Car Accident Was Reported On August 11th, in Highland Park

The collision happened on the northbound side of the 110 Freeway near Pasadena Avenue. It was reported at about 9:18 a.m. with no further details as to what led to the crash. 

As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles was overturned on its roof. 

One of the drivers sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The identity of both parties has not been disclosed. 

Witnesses are urged to contact authorities with any helpful information as the crash is still under investigation. 

Rollovers account for only 3% of all serious collisions; however, 30% of them result in a fatality. 

According to the NHTSA,  almost 80% of rollovers involve one car. Additionally, roughly 250,000 vehicles that are involved in a rollover are left undriveable.
