Two-Vehicle Crash on SR-94 in San Diego 

A Honda HRV and Scion sedan collided on State Route 94 in San Diego on Monday afternoon.

The collision occurred at 1:38 p.m. on August 15th at the transition to the northbound 805 Freeway.

One of the vehicles went head-on into the center divider, landing on its side and the other overturned upon impact. 

It is unclear at this time what caused the accident. 

There was also a pregnant woman and infant that were in one of the vehicles. Their condition is unknown at this time. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

Statistics show that rollover accidents account for about one-third of all fatalities in the U.S. In  addition, 30% of vehicle fatalities are rollover crashes. These types of accidents are far more likely to result in a fatality than non-rollover crashes.
