Richard Peddicord Killed in Lucerne Valley Crash
The San Bernardino County Coroner has identified the motorist killed in a crash Saturday afternoon in Lucerne Valley.
Richard Peddicord, 56, of Hesperia was killed in a crash that happened at around 3:21 on December 2 on Highway 247 and Bessemer Mine Road.
The crash is still being investigated.

A motorist sustained fatal injuries in a crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said the wreck was reported at around 3:21 p.m. on State Route 247 between Santa Fire Road and George’s Road.
Responding crews located a sedan and a semi-truck. How they collided was not immediately established.
The impact caused the sedan to roll multiple times before coming to rest off the right-hand shoulder of the roadway.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived at the crash site and declared the sedan’s driver deceased.
The identity of the victim was upheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The tragic traffic collision remains under investigation.
