Richard May Killed in San Francisco Crash Involving Pedestrian, Two Cars on Post Street and Hyde Street

65-year-old Richard D. May was the pedestrian who was killed in a crash involving two cars that happened Saturday morning at an intersection in San Francisco.

The deadly accident happened around 10:40 a.m. on Post Street at Hyde Street.

May had a passion for acting and was on that day expected to act in his first show of the season.

On October 28th, May was walking along Post Street to African American Shakespeare Company, where he was going to perform that night in the first of a three-weekend run of “Death of a Salesman”.

Reportedly, a white BMW was speeding eastbound on Post Street through Hyde Street when it clipped a black Audi, spun around, and struck May who was walking down the street.

May died at the crash scene.

The BMW driver was arrested at the scene shortly after the collision.

Authorities are still investigating the collision.
