Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Woodland, CA

64-year-old Richard Hoar was hit and killed in Woodland, CA on Friday morning.

The man was jogging in a rural area on the shoulder of Road 25A before entering the intersection at County Road 98.

It was around 4:40 in the morning when an unspecified vehicle struck him. 

Sadly, despite life-saving efforts, Hoar was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No details have been provided regarding the involved driver. It is unclear if they stayed at the scene or not.

Investigators are actively working to piece together all of the details of the accident.
