Randy Gibson, 50, Hit and Killed in National City
The man who died Tuesday last week after being struck by a vehicle in National City has been identified as 50-year-old Randy Lee Gibson.
The fatal accident occurred at about 5:10 a.m. on November 21, on East Plaza Boulevard, just west of 805 Freeway.
National City Police officers responded to the scene and performed CPR on Randy Gibson until medical personnel arrived. Gibson was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
