Wednesday Pedestrian Accident at Bear Valley Road 

Victorville police are actively investigating a pedestrian accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred on November 10th at about 4:17 p.m. at Bear Valley Road and Second Avenue. 

According to reports, a Toyota Corolla struck the pedestrian under unclear circumstances. 

The driver stopped at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities. 

Firefighters arrived at the scene and requested an air ambulance for the pedestrian and they were taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

According to statistics, there was a 26% increase in pedestrian deaths in California from 2014-2018.

In addition, California’s pedestrian fatality rate is about 25% higher than the national average.

  • Obey traffic laws & signals
  • Always use crosswalk
