Pedestrian Hospitalized After Linda Crash

A pedestrian was injured following a crash that happened in Linda, CA on May 18. The accident took place near River Band Drive and Goldfields Parkway early Tuesday at about 12:10 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the pedestrian was crossing near the intersection of River Bank Drive and Goldfields Parkway when a vehicle struck them.

Paramedics and firefighters arrived at the scene and found that the victim had sustained lacerations and pain in the abdomen. The pedestrian was sent to the Adventist Health and Rideout for treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
