Man Killed in Highway 101 Traffic Accident 

A Tesla fatally struck a man in San Jose on Tuesday night, May 31st. 

The incident occurred on Highway 101 near the transition ramp to Interstate 280.

Reports also included that the accident took place around 9:40 p.m. within the northbound lanes of the highway.

Sadly, despite life-saving measures, the man died at the scene. 

Their identity is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

According to statistics, there was a 26% increase in pedestrian deaths in California from 2014-2018.

In addition, California’s pedestrian fatality rate is about 25% higher than the national average.
