Pedestrian Killed in Fremont Crash

A pedestrian was killed in a collision that happened at an intersection in Fremont on Friday morning, according to the authorities.

The incident took place in the area of Blacow Road and Royal Palm Drive at around 7:42 a.m. December 2.

Authorities said the woman was in the crosswalk when a vehicle hit her.

The victim was found lying in the roadway and was rushed to a trauma center with major injuries.

The woman, a 41-year-old Fremont resident, was pronounced deceased at the trauma center.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
