Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Foothill Boulevard 

45-year-old Edward Escobedo was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fontana on Friday night. 

The incident took place on January 28th around 9 p.m. on Foothill Boulevard. 

An unidentified vehicle struck Escobedo near Sultana Avenue and it is unclear at this time if the involved driver stayed at the scene. 

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene to find the man lying on the ground. Sadly, despite life-saving efforts, Escobedo succumbed to his injuries. 

Investigators are actively working to determine fault for the accident.
