15 Freeway Accident Results in Major Injuries
Investigators are working to determine fault regarding a two-vehicle accident that occurred in San Diego Thursday morning.
According to CHP, the crash took place at 4:24 a.m. within the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway.
An Audi S4 and white Jeep collided near Highway 52 under unclear circumstances.
Due to the impact, one of the vehicles ended up in the center divider and another on the right-hand shoulder.
One person suffered major injuries as a result and was rushed to the hospital via ambulance.
Tow trucks were also needed to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Tips for after accident procedures:
- Always stop at the scene
- Call 911 if there are any injuries
- Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
- Exchange information with others involved and document everything
- Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
