Fatality Reported near Friars Road Due to Traffic Accident 

One person was killed in the early hours in San Diego as the result of a two-vehicle collision.

A pickup truck crashed with another vehicle on the I-15 Freeway around 1 a.m. 

The accident took place within the northbound lanes.

It is unclear at this time what caused the accident.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
