Highway 190 Collision Kills 1 in Porterville
Two vehicles collided in Porterville on Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of one person.
According to CHP reports, the crash occurred at 7:47 a.m. on Highway 190.
A Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Hybrid sedan collided at Success Valley Drive under unclear circumstances.
The crash also occurred near the entrance to the Success Valley Campground.
One person was killed as a result. It is unclear if others were injured in the crash.
Authorities also blocked the highway for a period of time as crews worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
