Multi-Vehicle Crash Reported at Telephone Road and Olivas Park Drive

An unspecified number of vehicles collided in Ventura on Saturday morning, leaving one injured.

Reports included that the collision occurred at about 11:40 a.m. on May 14th.

A Ford Ranger pickup along with other vehicles were among those involved in the crash that occurred at Telephone Road and Olivas Park Drive.

It was reported that the Ford ended up off the roadway and struck a utility pole as a result.

One person was transported to Ventura County Medical Center and Los Robles Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.

Investigators are actively working to determine fault for the accident.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
