Lake Casitas Motorcycle Collision Leaves Man Dead 

38-year-old Nicholas Ryan Cooper was killed in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday afternoon. 

His bike collided with another vehicle around 2:35 p.m. in Lake Casitas. 

The collision took place on Highway 150 on August 17th. 

It was reported that Cooper was traveling east in a Kawasaki Ninja before he crossed into oncoming traffic. 

As a result, his bike collided with a westbound Mazda CX-9 SUV.

The rider was airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center where he sadly died due to his injuries. 

An active investigation remains underway.
