Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision
A traffic accident involving two cars occurred on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas which left Nevada’s governor with injuries.
According to the governor’s spokesperson, the incident took place around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Russell Road.
The Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene on October 17th to investigate the collision between a red sedan and Lexus SUV.
Both Sisolak and the other driver were transported to University Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Due to the collision, authorities also shut down the intersection for a period of time.
The crash remains under investigation.
