Men Killed in Crash at Downey Avenue and Imperial Highway
Tragic Car Accident in Downey Claims the Lives of Mynor Medina, 27, and Fabian Armas Cortes, 34, of Fontana.
Mynor Medina, 27, and Fabian Armas Cortes, 34, both residents of Fontana, lost their lives in a car accident early Saturday morning in Downey. The collision occurred around 5:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22nd, as confirmed by a CHP report and the Downey Police Department.
The two men were traveling together in a vehicle when the crash happened under circumstances yet to be determined.
In response to the accident, the Downey Police Department issued a SigAlert at 5:11 a.m. and closed down the eastbound and westbound traffic lanes on Imperial Highway between Downey Avenue and Paramount Boulevard.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the victims as Mynor Medina and Fabian Armas Cortes.
The Downey Police Department is actively leading the investigation to determine the cause of this tragic car accident that claimed the lives of Mynor Medina and Fabian Armas Cortes.
