Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured In Multi-vehicle Collision
The crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on August 29th on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash near Sutterville Road.
It is currently unknown what caused the crash between the motorcycle, a Mercedes SUV and Ford Focus.
As a result of the impact, the Mercedes SUV sustained moderate front damage as well as a broken left tire.
The motorcyclist, who was an unidentified woman, sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Information regarding the other drivers involved has not been released.
In addition, southbound lanes of the 5 freeway were closed down for a period of time as a result of the collision.
