A multi-car crash caused a traffic mess on Interstate 80 in Berkeley on Friday morning.
A traffic alert was issued by the California Highway Patrol at 11:20 a.m. for westbound I-80 near Gilman. Every westbound lane was blocked from the accident at one point.
