Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Following Ventura Crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash that took place on Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura, CA. According to the California Highway Patrol group, the accident happened Thursday afternoon around 2:30 p.m.

A vehicle and the rider collided for unknown reasons just north of the Emma Wood State Beach. When emergency crew arrived at the scene, they found the motorcyclist with multiple major injuries.

The rider was taken to a hospital for further treatment of an open wound to their leg. Further information about the victim has not been released. Meanwhile, authorities had to close a portion of the PCH.
