Motorcyclist Killed In Wreck Identified

California Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a motorcycle crash early Tuesday as Dylan D. Sudtell.

The 25-year-old McArthur man was riding his 2016 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Highway 299 around 7:10 p.m. when his vehicle went off the highway while rounding a curve. The CHP said the motorcycle hit a utility pole and landed in a water-filled canal just east of the utility pole. An eyewitness said the motorcyclist was traveling about 100 mph before hitting the pole.
