Motorcyclist Killed Following DUI Crash in Stockton

A fatal crash that happened late Sunday night left a motorcyclist dead. The crash happened at East Mariposa Road and Murphy Road at about 11:46 p.m., May 23.

Two motorcycles and one car collided for unknown reasons. The car caught fire immediately after the crash.

One of the motorcyclists lost a leg, which was found in the middle of the road. At this time, it’s unknown which person died in the crash. However, it’s likely the rider who lost a leg was killed, due to the severity of the injury.

One of the motorists was arrested shortly after with charges of DUI causing bodily injury and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
