Highway 101 Collision Leaves Motorcyclist Hurt
The California Highway Patrol reported a collision involving a motorcycle in Redwood City on Wednesday, May 4th.
The accident took place in the morning just before 10:30 a.m. on Highway 101.
A motorcycle and minivan, or SUV, collided within the northbound lanes for unknown reasons.
Reports included that the rider complained of pain in his left ankle and both hands. He was taken to Stanford Medical Center for further treatment.
A tow truck was also used to remove the bike from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
